Been on them again for a month as had to come off them till had scan due to breakthrough bleeding but since going back in them bloated feeling hungry all time feeling down and now coming out in spots which some are tiny hard spots it’s really getting me down thinking of stopping them but tried gel and had to come off that due to bleeding not sure what else my dr will give me next has anyone else had this happen to them and how long till breakouts clear etc any suggestions to try tweaking patches

Maybe try a lower dose patch?
Mirena coil for progesterone is meant to control bleeding?

Thank you for your advice I’m on lowest conti patch at moment so not sure what my dr could do I was fine when I first started them back in November except for breakthrough bleed which started around February felt great no bloating spots or constant hunger but once stopped for 2 weeks while waiting for my scan then restarting that’s when it all started it’s really strange

Has anyone else still had continuous bleeding on and off since being on conti patches been on them 8 months now tried halving them which helped at first so went back to full patch on lowest dose already been on them before and dr sent me for scans when originally bled so restarted me back on them but it’s the bleeding can be just spotting to proper bleed but it’s the suddenly getting it that’s annoying me fed up of wearing my old knickers 😂just in case also getting a lot of backache as well got a dr appointment on 24/1/23 so see what she thinks need to be on hrt really as got diagnosed with osteoporosis which they say helps if on hrt as not on any medication for my osteoporosis at moment
