Insomnia, how long for oestrogel to work?

I’m exhausted and so fed up with waking up every day before 5am. If my oestrogel dose is right how long might it take til I’m sleeping better? It’s only been a week, I think I was hoping for miracles!

the oestrogel made no difference to me......it was the proogesterone that helped a bit- sorry!

Yep same here - it’s the progesterone that helps me sleep not the oestrogel.

I think estrogel helps in that it stopped my hot flushes and night sweats. Like the others said though, it's the progesterone that is a sedative

The improvement in my sleep was the first benefit I noticed after starting HRT - I stopped piddling at night. IIRC I noticed that improvement after a month, maybe 6weeks.
