Anyone get over-emotional on HRT

I'm on estogel and progesterone and lately I've noticed that I'm getting emotional at the drop of a hat. I was just reading about Joe Wicks' childhood and started welling up! This is quite a light-hearted question, it's not causing me any problems, but just wondered if anyone else is the same?

It will be the Utrogestan. It can have that effect. Are you using it daily or on a cycle?

Recently started. Today welled up at the footage of Ukraine winning the eurovision, at the Queen watching the horses and at the verse inside a birthday card I was buying. I had to pretend it was hay-fever!😪

OP, this is fascinating. I've only been on the gel stuff for about a week, and I have already noticed that I'm feeling soppy about ridiculous things (whereas until the gel, I've been entirely in "so fucking what?" mode). Someone who normally really, really pisses me off to the far side of fuck said something to me at the weekend that made me think "aww, bless". I haven't had any of the pills yet.

I'm less emotional on the Evorel continent patches than I was without it. Both good and bad emotions, but especially the rages!

I've been on the gel for 2 years, and lately all I think is, everyone sucks, everything is shit, people are hateful and everyone can fuck right off.

I'm on 1.5mg per day, maybe mine needs increasing! I don't take utrogestan, I have a mirena coil. But I have also just started topiramate, which is renowned for making people horribly depressed...

The progesterone also gives me bizarre dreams, but I sleep more deeply than normal.

The utrogestan gives me unbelievable rage and anger! I think I've seriously tested some of my friendships the last couple of months :(
