Sudden bleeding?!

Sorry maybe TMI for some …..
I’ve been on the progesterone only pill & hrt for a few years now. No bleeding during that time. A year ago stated to get a yellow non smelly discharge. Had tests for EVERYTHING!! Noting was found.
About 2 weeks ago started bleeding- just a small amount, not bright red. . Stopped bleeding , discharge continued and then a few days ago saw lots of bright red blood on my pad.!! Also the night before this was very itchy.
Anyone have any idea what’s going on?!

Hi I was on the two week pathway for virtually the same thing - full blown period out of the blue, xx years after they stopped. It frightened the hell out of me, but I was examined really quickly and there was nothing abnormal at all. As far as everyone can make out, the most likely cause is me being lax about taking my utrogestan tablets. I forgot one again this week and sure enough I'm spotting again so it seems like a likely answer. But I'm not you and you do need to get checked.

Just to add I also wondered if there was a Covid connection - not with the vaccine but with the illness itself as I had a bout a couple of months ago which hit me hard in terms of weird symptoms etc.
