When to expect a bleed? (Evorel Sequi)

I am sure this is a daft question, but I can’t find the answer.

Im on my first month of Evorel Sequi, with only one patch left. So far so good: my main symptoms of night sweats and hot flushes have disappeared and I’m feeling brighter than I have in years.

My periods had become closer together and generally a bit erratic, and I’d missed two altogether by the time I went to GP and started HRT. I’d gone to GP armed for a fight, but I was lucky -she was great and it was all v quick and straightforward.

I’d assumed that the progesterone would provoke a bleed, but am now almost a month in and nothing.

Have I misunderstood? It’s not that I actually want my “periods” back, it’s just a bit unsettling not knowing what to expect.

You will get a bleed at the end of the 1 month cycle(just like a normal period- every 4 weeks.)

It usually starts within 2-4 days of the last patch containing progesterone. In normal cycles, a period happens when progesterone falls.

Don't worry if it doesn't happen this month. It doesn't always.

oh who knows!!! Honestly my patches get on my nerves ... everyone will tell you that the hrt will give you a 'withdrawal bleed' a few days after stopping the conti patches but meh ... mine have never synced and have stayed in line with my natural cycle - usually about every 32 days then every now and then I skip one. Wishing you better luck than me!

Thank you both, that’s really helpful (even just the knowing that there’s not necessarily a “normal” to expect.
