Going to do a bit of HRT dose tweaking

PLEASE HELP

I've been on HRT for nearly 2 years. 50 micrograms Estradot patches and 1 x 100mg Utrogestan at bedtime.

Recently and suddenly my anxiety is THROUGH THE ROOF. Unbearable. Plus I'm now getting occasional night sweats.

I can't get in to see my menopause doc until 6th June.

Over the two years with the occasional missed patch or dose I've got a few extras. I know self medication isn't great. But I'm pretty desperate. What doses are others on? I could cut a patch in half and apply 1.5 patch to up the dose to 75. Do others take more than on Utrogestan capsule? Could that approach help and tied me over until my appointment on 6th?!!

Thanks! x

Don't have an answer for you, but today I've decided to do the same myself. I've read on here a few times about people being advised to cut a patch in half and add it to try a higher dose.

My review is 19th May, but I have a few spare too, due to getting the script a few days early each month (being aware of shortages)

I figure at least if I try this myself and it helps, then I can give a good argument for upping my dosage in a couple of weeks time.
