HRT post meno?

I am 5 years post meno and didn't have it too bad. Didn't try HRT because hardly any hot flushes and now just notice memory and anxiety. But now I'm reading about all the benefits, particularly to protect against Alzheimers, I'm wondering if I should pursue it now. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience to help? Is this mad?

You have nothing to worry about. Many women start HRT later. To get the best heart health you need to start within 10 years of menopause.

It's even fine for women over 60 to start on a low dose/ transdermal.
