Which HRT is best for me?

I went through the menopause about 9 years ago. I have never taken HRT and have suffered hot flushes, brain fog, weight gain and low libido ever since. I am now living in Spain and I believe I can buy HRT over the counter. Can anyone recommend which will be the best HRT to ask for. (Names of medication please) Thanks 🙏

Hi OP - you should really see a gp or menopause specialist to discuss the most appropriate HRT for your particular health needs. If you still have a uterus, you'll need to take a combination of oestrogen and progesterone. I would recommend a body identical protocol (either gel or patches) for the oestrogen as opposed to tablets (transdermal obviously avoids the liver and any enzymes that may reduce its efficacy). Go see a specialist first though.

Nameste6 Thanks, I will see a GP first and go from there. Thanks for your reply. 🙏
