Help please!

Hi, really hoping someone can help.

My Estrodot patch was for 75mg, the pharmacy can't get stock. They have however got Oestrogel so told me to get a different prescription from the GP.

I did and have been given a pump bottle. The guy at Boots told me he doesn't understand how I am being told to use 3 pumps a day. He said each one is 75. The woman behind him (who worked there!) disagreed and I am none the wiser! She said it wasn't a direct conversion. He said 3 pumps would be way over.

He told me to ask my GP. I did email this morning and have not heard and don't know what to do.

Does anyone know anything about this?

You will be mugged if you have Oestrogel. It’s in very very short supply.

Clearly the guy had no idea what he was talking about. I feel reassured.

It is strange! I didn't want gel! Have never used it! But my Boots had an ample delivery yesterday. They fulfilled all outstanding prescriptions and had some left over.

Also they told me Estradot is out at their main supplier while the GP looked online and said there was no problem with supply 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I guess I can understand his confusion.

Ffs though. He is spouting this out at the Pharmacy at Boots!

Perhaps I should go back and tell someone higher than him.
