Evorel Conti patches.. Experiences..

Hi all

I'm about to start Evorel Conti patches (this is the first hrt I've taken). I've been reading reviews and note that one of the side effects is weight gain. Has anyone else gained weight on these? Also, how long did it take to feel the benefits? My symptoms are anxiety (so much so that sometimes I can hardly breath), fatigue, extreme mood swings and headaches. Also, I have no interest in anything... Including all the things I usually love to do.. For example socialising, yoga, reading etc. I must admit, there are some days when I just want to drive my car into a wall! 😭

I’ve been them on for about a month. I’m not noticing a change in anything at the moment.
I’m really fed up with the menopause now!

I’ve been on Evorel Sequi for about ten weeks and apart from a sudden burst of extra energy for about a week about 6 weeks in I actually feel more anxious and depressed than before! Going back to the GP soon so will see about upping the dosage or other alternatives

I even tried to put plasters on top of it, just to keep it in place but, it came off the next day !!😡 I was told by a doctor that: ‘ you can have a shower, swim, …. And you should be ok !!’ My a..!! Not ok 🤷‍♀️ I’m very frustrated that I desperately need it but it’s not working!!!😩

Could you have had a dodgy batch? On holiday I was in the hot tub every day as well as usual showering once or twice a day, sweaty exercising etc. no problems with the patches staying on.

Me too. The AP has referred me to a menopause clinic but the waiting list is 12 months!
