Norethisterone/estradiol ratio

Can anyone quickly answer this, before my GP appointment.
I'm on Evorel sequi patches. They've been great but I feel I'm slipping backwards into symptoms again.
If I ask for an increase in estradiol, does the norethisterone dose have to increase as well? I thought that it was a standard dose regardless?
I realise I'd have to add (or add a cut up a patch) to get to 75mg of estradiol as the sequi is only 50mg.
I don't get on with gel/utrogestan.

Probably not. Check what the amount of norethisterone is in higher dose patches (there are some that are 100mcgs.)

There is a full list of all HRT types on Menopause Matters website.

@JinglingHellsBells

Thanks. I don’t think there is a higher dose combi patch. The 100mg is just estradiol, I think. I'll take a look at MM.

You are probably right :)

I've got 2 patches from the GP for now, my old Evorel sequi and an Evorel 25. There isn't a higher combined patch, which is odd. Slightly unweildy solution, but I'll see how I go. I'm actually quite heartened by easy it is to get HRT at my practice and how they are happy to tinker.
