How long for HRT to make any difference, especially to crap memory ?

I've been on it for 6 weeks. Why? Really because I'm 53 and my memory is really, really, really rubbish, I put things in the fridge, I go up and down stairs not remembering why. Also, my knees hurt when I run, I think I am more prone to anxiety, and I have been a bit hot at night. I wish it was otherwise but there we are. However, as my kind doctor said, it used to be why take HRT, now it's why not?
But I can't honestly say I feel any different at all. How long would you give it? I am taking Andrena gel and Utrogestan pill. Long horrible history of endometriosis with surgery etc which is why I waited so long to try it. Love any thoughts... fortunately have my 3 month prescription so not affected by shortages....yet.

I’ve been given testosterone as welll as hrt as it’s supposed to help memory. Been on it about 6 weeks but not noticed much difference, was told to give it 3-4 months before I would notice improvements

Do you mean Sandrena gel?
You need to give all HRT 3 months. 6 weeks is nothing :)
