Legs aching like I've walked 10 miles...

...when I've only walked about 2!
I'm 54 and have been seeing an osteopath for referred leg pain caused by an old herniated disc, but this is different. Makes me feel about 80! Could this be menopause related and if so will it pass eventually?
All shared experiences and advice gratefully received!

No answers but I'm 52 and feel the same - legs, knees, feet all hurt. I love walking but it hurts.

I’m on cod liver oil and I think it helps. I also always sit with my legs up when I can.

Yeah. I had early menopause and was quite fit in a 'being head gardener on a city farm' kinda way (I'd have done 10,000 steps by 11am) but once the menopause hit mid 40s, i had to crawl up the stairs at the end of the day. I was also not sleeping and only managed to get HRT by proving to the doctor how little sleep i was getting by showing him my Fitbit app.

Turns out by then i had osteoporosis. Yay.

Get it checked out as soon as you can.

Thank you - it seems I'm not alone. Sorry to hear about the osteoporosis - are you taking anything to relieve the symptoms?
Off to order some cod liver oil...

HRT is the best way to counteract it, plus calcium, and carrying heavy stuff regularly.
