Changing from Everol patches to gel and Utrogestan - help'

Hi. I have been switched from Everol Sequi patches to Utrogestan tablets and Sandrena gel.
Today I finally got my hands on the elusive gel so am good to go.
Issue is I can't find anywhere when to start the new HRT if I'm not starting from scratch and switching.
I am in peri so still having periods and am due any day now. Should I switch straight to the gel and wait until day 14 to start the Utrogestan?
The pharmacist just said it was fine to switch whenever but that doesn't quite feel right!

I am on Divigel (estrogen) which I had to start day 5 after my period started and then started the progesteron on day 14 for 14 days on and 14 days off and keep taking the estrogen daily without a break. I hope this helps in some way. Loving the Progesteron part as it really helps me sleep, just started one month in and wish had been able to get it sooner instead of suffering for years. Good luck with it all.

Am in Peri also. Have been for years but think most of us just got on with it as no one talked about it all before. I was so anxious about started hrt and left it for months after got my meds but once started feel better already and not so much doom and gloom so hoping my energy comes back soon as seem to have lost my mojo.
