I started taking this pill a year ago as I was having really heavy periods. Pretty sure it was caused by peri-menopause. Everything settled down perfectly. However, over past 8 weeks I've had what I can only describe as the period of doom. Started off light and at one point Stopped completely for 2 weeks. Now at 8 weeks and I'm getting through a super tampax in less than 2 hours. Nothing I usually do to make it better is working. I have an appointment with the nurse in my GP next week but wondering if I should try and bring it forward.

I think I would be asking for an earlier appointment. I’m on cerazette and haven’t had a period in about 10 years. I’m 46 and no idea if I’m peri/menopausal at all.

I think you should see the GP too. I’ve been on POP (currently cerevette) for years and only ever had very light spotting.
I actually came off it for 6 months last year as suspected I was peri. Nothing happened 4 months then 2 horrendous ‘flooding’ periods. Back on it, and on HRT now. I hope you get it sorted.

I'm on cerezette and not had any bleeding and no idea if I'm peri or what I'm 44. I would get GP appointment asap.

I don’t think it’s related to the pill. I’ve been on Cezarette for 10 years and haven’t had any bleeding or periods at all in all that time (I’m 41).
