Which general vitamins or supplements?

There are just so many?! Am looking for something to start now while am likely in peri but there are too many! Even someone like WellWomen have about 5 different types of Menopace 🙈

I'd avoid them tbh. Ive taken vitamin D for decades as I live up north and get no sun, lol. B vitamins and iron are worth looking at, but aside from that the evidence is v patchy - non existent. Save your money.

Unless you are having a very restricted diet for some reason, you do not need extra vitamins or any supplements other than Vit D which is recommended by the NHS for all adults from October - April .

You might find it better to look at your diet and make it varied, with lots of healthy foods like a wide range of fruit, vegetables, pulses, whole grains, dairy, olive oil, nuts and seeds, and avoid refined carbs, sugar as much as possible (within reason!)

We only need vitamins in minute amounts and most people get all they need from food.

Vitamins certainly don't help in any way with peri or menopause.

Newson clinic recommend magnesium glycinate, they advised this when they prescribed HRT for me

Interesting, was that a personal lack of mag or a general suggestion that all meno women should take it do you think?
