Darn I thought I was done but I think I’m having another period

Been nearly 10 months since my last one. Wondering if it is actual period or something more sinister, as I’d also felt bloated and constipated. Do I need to go and get checked?

If it were over a year then definitely. As it is, I’m not sure:

I thought my hormones were settling down, the night-time hot flushes had eased off then I suddenly started a period yesterday after about three months so I suppose it will all start again. It’s annoying.
I don’t suppose that helps. Is Econsult an option for you?

My periods came back after 2 years . Thought menopausal. Haven't a clue.
Last period was March 2020.
Had hot sweats, flushes, vaginal dryness, moods omg the moods, weight loss to name a few.
Saw doctors, they all said yes menopause.
Then beginning of this year the reflux stopped. My vaginal dryness went.
February had 3 days of spotting , this month a bloody massacre.

I had one 11 months after my previous one, I was so hacked off as it meant I still had to carry around sanpro 'just in case' for another damn year and I was so nearly done! However it was the final flourish, haven't had another one since. The female body is a thing of wonder and mystery, even to her inhabitant...

@WeegieWan that’s what’s so annoying - being almost at the finishing line but then having to go back to the start. Pah!

Be careful. My great grandmother thought she was fully in menopause as she hadn't had a period for about nine months. Turns out she was six months pregnant. Had her last baby at 50.

That happened to my friend, she thought she was at the finish line and her husband had had a vasectomy a few years earlier. However his bits managed to reattach themselves so he was "in full working order" without realising it!!

A beautiful baby girl was the result!
