Lenzetto spray increase anxiety!

Hello.

I'm 42 and I've only just started hrt 8 days ago. My main peri symptom is anxiety and depression. My anxiety is very physical and I'm aggitated a lot.

I am finding after spraying the pump in the morning I get a massive increase in physical anxiety. Feeling tingly and my heart races. It's like a boost of energy, which is not what I need!

Anyone experienced this? And does it go away?

I'm really not sure if it's hrt I need rather than an antidepressant. I can't deal with more anxiety.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

It's early days.

Maybe try reducing the amount? I appreciate it's harder with a spray compared with gel, but maybe you could experiment with spraying into your palm and applying some of it?

There is also Sandrena gel which comes in 0.5mgs sachets, or Oestrogel.

Has your GP given you the spray for a special reason?

In very young women like you, they sometimes prefer the OCP- like Qlaira, or even tablet form HRT- Femoston.

@JinglingHellsBells thank you for your reply. After how i was yesterday I've decided to stop it. I was hysterically crying. I find the estrogen very stimulating, and it increased anxiety to a ridiculous level.
I'll have a look into HRT- Femoston.
Thanks

@sunnyscot80 I know this thread is old but I found you! I started Lenzetto two weeks ago and my anxiety is through the roof. Absolutely unbearable. I'm going to stop (was only on one spray a day). Can I ask if your anxiety resolved after stopping? Such a shite time of year to be struggling with anxiety and just need it to stop.
Part of me thinks maybe it's just a coincidence, busy time of year + terrible world events = anxiety. But the timing is just too significant. Within a few days of starting (maybe two days), I was waking up with a shock of anxiety and it doesn't dissipate until the afternoon/evening. I can't power through.
I'd love to know how you got on coming off it, how quickly your anxiety reduced, and if you have since tried a different estro?

Thanks

Hi!

I started Lanzetto 3 week ago and YES anxiety is through the roof!

Bad bad side effect. I could not function at alll. I was in such a bad state I could not cope anymore. So I stopoed 1 week ago and anxiety stopped!

I am totally confused, my doctor says that is not from lanzetto. Well she is so wrong!!!!

Women should be worned about this side effect and immediatley stop!!!

Hope you are ok now!
