I'm 45. I was on the combined pill until December when my doctor suggested I stop. Since then, I haven't had a period, only a day of very light brown spotting.
I'm not sure what to do, if anything. Is it possible that my periods stopped a while ago- the bleed on the pill isn't a real period, is it? Or could it just be that my period is taking a while to return after stopping the pill and actually it's nothing to do with menopause?
