Perimeno + hair loss?

HELP! My hair is thinning at the temples and on top. Still thick at back and sides.

I'm well into perimenopause.

Anyone else experienced this and HOW DID YOU STOP IT GETTING WORSE?!

HRT. Helps a lot of women stop the hair thinning.

But it would also be worth speaking to the GP & asking about having some blood tests. Lots of things can contribute to thinning hair such as thyroid, low iron, low B12/folate, low vitamin D.

Thanks @Isgooglebroken

I probably do need to be consistent with good multivits etc., but it's like Autumn on the top of my head, so it's gonna be HRT for me I think.

I'm fearful of looking like Andy from Little Britain in the not too distant future!

I would stay off any supplements before blood tests otherwise it will skew the results.

I also found my hair started looking thicker when I started using paraben and SLS free shampoos and conditioners. It did take a couple of months but people suddenly started commenting on my hair looking good. Maybe it was less weighted down with whatever is in normal shampoo? No clue, but I’ve continued to use it and my hair does look better. I also didn’t start using it until around 18 months after starting on HRT so it really did help to switch products.
