Mid HRT cycle bleeding, what do I do?

I've been on oestrogel and Utrogestan for over 12 months with very few problems but this month I bled 9 days after my expected "period"
It didn't last as long as normal but was significant.

Do I just use that as a starting point again with regards day 1 of Utrogestan and then see how it goes?

Annoying because I'm off on hols in April and now don't know if and when I'm going to have a period!

Just to clarify, I had my normal expected period and then another 9 days later

I think I'd carry on with the 'normal' schedule but try to call my GP to ask, you might need to get the estrogel dosage adjusted so probably best to check in with your GP.

Just came on to ask the same question. I’ve got horrendous cramps three days into progesterone dose.

Unless your periods had stopped for a year before you went onto hrt, they can override the hrt 'cycle' and appear at any time.

The way to go forward is to stick to the usual cycle with Utrogestan as usual.

If your withdrawal bleed is due over your holiday, it's usually ok to lengthen the estrogen-only cycle and delay Utrogestan for a few days.
