Where do you attach your HRT patch?

I've been putting my oestrogen patches on the front of my thigh but after a day they look awful around the edges where the glue has picked up fluff from my clothes. I tried one on the back of my thigh but it wasn't comfortable as it pulled when I walk. So where do you stick yours?!

Top of bum cheek, covered by knickers, not on elastic line.

All over the place. And normally have about 3 ‘ghost’ glue squares from previous patches

The ghost squares are easily removed with baby oil on a cotton pad.

Middle of my bum cheek. I like to pick the residue off when I change sides

I've been putting them on my thigh but wondering if bum cheek would be more comfortable. I do like a soak in the bath though, worried they would come off?

I alternate sides of my hip, below waistline of clothes.
