Started HRT, have worsening leg pain

I started HRT patches about a month ago, and pretty much straight away developed a pain in my calf. Obviously I’ve headed the warnings re DVT, and had a blood test and ultrasound, both of which were clear.

I’ve been back to the nurse last week as pain is worsening. She spoke to GP who said not to repeat test/scan yet but to wait and see.

I’m in agony Sad Taking codeine and ibuprofen gel (can’t have profen tablets) and it’s still so uncomfortable. Is this normal with HRT? Google seems to think yes, so if so, is there anything I can do to relieve it?

Not in my experience. I felt amazing within 10 days of starting. No pains in muscles at all.

I've only just realised that my back and legs pains are due to my hrt I've only been on it 6 weeks don't know if it's worth the pain

When you say blood tests, did they do a d-dimer test?
I’d be worried about a DVT as well. I’d go back to the GP.
