Libido - testosterone? increased estrogen? any experiences?

GP has just doubled my patches as apparently oestrogen is the first line for libido (and testosterone is of course off licence in the UK).

Anyone found it helpful at all?

I'm going to progress the testosterone route privately, the surgery is clearly not that keen despite "lots of people asking about it".

I had to up my oestrogen first and that did improve my mood but when it was proven to not improve libido the gp prescribed testagel off licence. It has helped. But it is up to your gp if they are prepared to prescribe it.
