Perimenopause or covid vaccination?

So my cycles have always been absolutely clockwork monthly. But the past 6 or so have been getting shorter and shorter spaced between them - moving forward by around a week each time. Could the covid jabs have triggered this, or more likely perimenopause? I'm late 30s.

I would like to know this too as experiencing the same thing! Early 40s, had regular cycles my whole adult life until after my second jab. Now shorter cycles and 7 day periods instead of 4 ☹️

I'm 48 and have had the exact same thing, last 2 months (had my booster pre Xmas) - period has turned up a week earlier than the month before, and 4-5 days of 'is it happening?' before starting properly.

Trying work out if it's peri or vaccine...
It's definitely hormones rather than cancer (have also been worrying about 'between period bleeding') because my face explodes the week before the bleeding starts...worse acne than when I was 17 sigh

Hmm interesting, if lots of people experience this it's a little concerning whether the vaccines are having any impact on fertility? Or even if they're triggering peri meno in women of a certain age? I guess it's just too early to say. I've always had fairly light, predictable periods too but these have been much heavier with far worse cramps.

I'm 37 in a few days! I've had 1st/2nd and booster (all pfizer)
Last cycle had my period on time then spotted 4 days after my period had ended. A few days ago I spotted again which was ovulation day according to my tracker. I'm suffering what I think is perimenopause as a result of the vaccine. Night sweats, dry vagina, mood swings. Never had any problems before.

Same here

After my first covid vaccine I never had a period for five months.

Very sporadic since then as well ... 🙄

When I was in my late 30's, my periods went absolutely haywire overnight, after being like clockwork and very mild for years and years and years. My peri-menopause started full bore when I was 40.

Have you all reported these side effects via the yellow card scheme ? I'm pro vaxx btw but mine affected my Periods short term so I made sure to report it

Knockonwood · 21/02/2022 18:39

I'm definitely going to report it. Well at least I'm done having children but didn't expect to feel like this at 37 😅

Me too ... my periods have been regular as clockwork, light (2 days max) for years. The last few months have been about 3 weeks apart and noticeably heavier. I assumed as I'm 48 it was peri-menopause but having seen this here am now wondering if it could be vaccine related?
