Anything get the black squares off easily? It comes off if I can be bothered to pick and run it but I’m lazy. Anything like an easy wipe off?

Watching with interest. I'm single atm but it did occur to me today that if I had a sudden liaison, unexpectedly, I would have at least one grey patchy sticky square on my front. That's just not a good look. Sometimes I have scratched at it to get it off which seems a quick fix but I actually make my skin sore and red around those edges (not a good look either). Tonight I did remove with some cotton wool and almond oil but it didn't feel entirely satisfactory.

I take it off before a bath and give the glue a scrub with a body puff.

Nail polish remover, soak a cotton wool ball on it and rub on the glue, it all comes off. My GP recommend hand sanitiser and it works too but a bit more hard work.

I got something called Zoff adhesive remover wipes on Amazon. They’re very good and work easily.

Baby oil soaked on cotton wool, rub it on the black marks for a few seconds, hey presto- it comes off. A friend told me this after I’d decided to use a pumice stone, which left me red raw!!

Oil based eye makeup remover.

RandomMess · 14/02/2022 23:06

Baby oil by far the easiest

Zoff wipes! I just got these the other week and they’re a gamechanger

PainterMummy · 14/02/2022 23:54

I just use hot soapy water on a wash cloth

Thank you OP! I started on the patches recently and I was thinking of posting exactly this but I thought it was just me as I wear black leggings most days and assumed the black bits were coming from them! The marks do look a bit manky - at the moment I have 2 plus the current patch, will try an oily eye make up remover tonight 🙂

Baby oil then scrub with a damp flannel.

Baby oil works for me. The ones I have are SO sticky.
