Erythema Nodosum & HRT

Hi has anyone with previous erythema nodosum been able to take HRT. I have been to the Doctors who said U would be able to take HRT and offered anti depressants to deal with my symptoms Thanks

I had it a long time ago (a symptom of IBD) and take HRT. Nothing on the leaflet about erythema, but I will now double check! What reason did the doctor give?

Ok, I’ve just read that erythema can be caused by contraceptives contain oestrogen - so I’m guessing I could be prescribed it because mine was caused by something else?

It first occured when I took the pill and went as soon as I came stopped taking it. I am not keen on taking anti depressants so need to establish if HRT is completely ruled out and if so need to research some alternatives. There doesn't seem to be much guidance
