Just that really.

Interested to hear what age your various symptoms started and ended too.

Been in meno for roughly 4-5 years now (not had periods for 10 or so years due to gynae surgery, so not sure). Now very early 50s. Started off with terrible anxiety, and hot flushes all day and night. Then got terrible migraines which I still get. Also got atrophy really badly for the duration, although that is lessening now (cross fingers). On the waiting list for a meno specialist - went on the list September 2020, still waiting now.

I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago so don't have periods any more. I kept my ovaries. I'm a few months off my 50th birthday.

Awful anxiety. So much so that I ended up twice at the GP in tears and coming home with a prescription for antidepressants. Disturbed sleep - either not being able to get to sleep, or waking up wide awake at 4am. Hot flushes in the evening or overnight. Vaginal dryness and repeated UTIs.

Am now on a low dose of HRT which is helping a wee bit, but I think I may ask for an increased dose next time to see if it improves further.

Pretty non eventful peri and nothing really till 51 when the odd hot flush came. Periods fine- no heavy bleeds just got shorter.

Once my periods stopped - just before 53- my flushes were coming hourly and I found my sleep pattern changed a lot.

Went on HRT soon after that as I already had low bone density and although HRT wasn't for that, it did help.

Still on it after more than 12 years. Tried coming off for a few weeks and old symptoms still there.

My mum had symptoms well into her 80s but her GP (when she was 60-ish) said too old for HRT (things have changed now on that.)
