Early menopause GP review - what do I need to ask?

I am 38 and have a three month review booked with the GP for Monday morning. I was put on Elleste duo 1mg three months ago (completed the third class cycle on Wednesday) and have felt a change for the better in my mood, anxiety levels and slight increase in libido.
However I can’t seem to to shift the night sweats and hot flashes Blush.

Should I be asking for the dose to be increased?
Or
Could I try to help myself with vitamins or supplements?

I still feel so lost with it all.

I don't know about the dosages for that brand but I'd probably be asking for an increase, which I'd imagine they'd do with ongoing hot flushes.

There's a really helpful fb U.K. group called the menopause support network.

The moderators also campaign a lot and worked with parliament recently, it's part of this: menopausesupport.co.uk/

There is a lot of really useful advice especially for those who've experienced early meno.

I saw on Instagram that Davina had to have highest patch of estrodot and more gel on top plus testosterone but that was through a specialist.

1mg is a low dose. (I'm in my 60s and and am on that and slightly more sometimes.)

At your age you most probably need more.

Thank you, I will ask on Monday and see how I fare. It’s such trial and error.

Thanks ladies, the GP doubled the dose without question and set the next review for 12 weeks time.
