Starting HRT

First patch on yesterday. Not coping emotionally today. Really not like me - could the patch be making me cry? Already?

Which patches are you on? I found I became tearful within hours of applying my first of the patches containing progesterone (I was on Evorel Sequi and so I had 2 weeks of oestrogen only patches, then 2 weeks of combined oestrogen and progesterone patches).

Well, I certainly felt the effects pretty much straight away when I started with the patches so it could be I suppose (although I felt better with the oestrogen only). It might settle down. Are you taking progesterone in another way or do you not need it?
