No withdrawal bleed on oestrogel and cyclical utrogestan?

I'm 5 months into 2 blobs of oestrogen gel in the mornings and 2 utrogestan tablets 12/28 evenings in a cycle.

I've come straight from the progesterone only pill onto HRT and am 47. So I expected the monthly bleeds.

But I've only had one withdrawal bleed on month two. Otherwise nothing.

I'm concerned as I know the utrogestan stops the womb lining building up excessively.

Does everyone get a bleed if it's working ok?

Could my periods have already stopped and do I need to come off HRT for a few months to see if that's the case?

I went on due to brain fog, fatigue, bladder issues, aching joints, insomnia, headaches, vaginal atrophy, etc etc.

The GP checked bloods and got me a scan of my womb before I started and they were all clear.

Anyone else had this?

I'm on 4 pumps of gel and 20/28 progesterone and I never get a withdrawal bleed. It concerned me so I saw the GP and she said that it was normal for some people. Maybe have a chat with your GP and see what they say.

Brilliant, thank you. The nurse I saw for a review has said it's probably fine and she'll just check with the GP.

I've gas the same but wasn't on anything.

Was actually quite regular.

I now don't know what to do about the utrogestan- I was two weeks late so will be taking at completely the wrong time.

Did your nurse suggest anything?

Just to continue and the GP will let me know if it's an issue.

About to finish the latest 12 days of utrogestan so I'll see if I get any bleed.

The information leaflet is odd. In one place it says you might get a bleed each cycle. In another it suggests you must to avoid endometrial build up.

Maybe I'm not building up so there is nothing to shed?
