Me and utro are not getting on well. Moody/low/weepy/anxious and I'm bleeding at totally random times and spotting ALL the time. (Scan etc all clear).

Can't take it vaginally (bladder issues makes it worse)

Don't want a coil for many reasons.

Is there anyone that moved to a different type of Prog and found it suited them more or am I a bit stuffed? My options seem to be patch or tablet. I know nories thingy ma Bob makes me want to kill so not that one either. Gah.

I had to switch to a mirena from utrogestan. The latter never controlled my endometrium and I had polyps.

Thanks @Abra1d1 - I really don't want a merina. I have too many other issues and generally hate the thought of it.

When you say it didn't control the endometrium did you have bleeding/spotting all the time? I didn't for the first six months and then it all went tits up. A scan has showed my linktree long to be thin but that's no wonder!

Yes, I developed polyps and hyperplasia, meaning bleeding. It was mirena or give up HRT. I’d also been earned a hysterectomy might be needed. I didn’t want to stop the oestrogel I was taking and so went for the mirena.
