Hi,

I'm 45 with regular periods but I think I'm in peri-menopause. For about a year now, I have a tickly cough every 2\3 months and I be noticed its around ovulation time. It doesn't last longer than 2 weeks. Is this a symptom and will HRT help? I need to go to the doctors but it's really hard to get an appointment but it's starting to make me really anxious

Can you do an Econsult form? I’m a bit older and in a similar situation. My cough flares up around ovulation and premenstrually. It has since I had Covid.
I don’t suppose that helps really. I think just because hormones affect everything it doesn’t mean there isn’t some other underlying cause so best to get it checked out.

I had an unexplained cough for years. When I had my gallbladder out it disappeared. Do you ever get unexplained pain in your upper stomach between your breasts? That was one of my symptoms. Just a thought. Really hope that you solve it soon.
