As the thread title really , some spotting end of month 1 and 2, 2 weeks of slight bleeding month 3 , thought I'd cracked it as no bleed at all month 4 , spotting most of month 5 but not at night so bearable .. on the 6th pack now half way in and have bled every day and night like a full period . I'm so disheartened with it all :(
It does say expect some breakthrough bleeding 3-6 months but it is getting worse . Do I just stop and hopefully bleeding will stop or keep going ?
It has stopped my joint pain totally and helped with stress incontinence a bit but not sure it's worth the bleeding and playing havoc with my sex life ! So confused as what to do

I'm not on Kliofem, but at 56 I started Oestrogel and Utrogestan on a continuous regime. At the time I started HRT I hadn't had a period for 9 months. Normally continuous HRT is recommended for women who have gone 12 months without a period. I tried it, with the doctor's agreement, but I had a lot of spotting and 3 or 4 period like bleeds. I had a TV scan and all was well, so I've switched to a cyclical regime, so I have a monthly bleed. I know when it will be, so it's much better than the randomness before!

So maybe you should go back to your GP, and talk about switching to a cyclical HRT regime?

Thank you
Yes I have 10 tablets left from the 6th month and then il see if I can get a review , I don't really want to have a monthly bleed as I've been period free for 2 years , just hoped it would have settled by now , it's now back to just spotting so fingered crossed it might be stopping ...
