Hello, new here, so trying to find my way around.
I'm 47, 48 in March. I've been on the Cerezette Contraceptive Pill for over 11 years, have had no issues with it and haven't had a period for the whole time I've been taking it. However, since 23rd December 2021 there has been blood when I wiped. I wear a pad anyway as I've got a broken back that hasn't healed properly, which causes some incontinence issues. Over the past 5 days there's now a small amount of dark read/brownish blood on the pad! I have an underactive Thyroid and I take 150mg of Thyroxine. I also suffer from Depression & Anxiety, I take 200mg of Setraline & have Diazepam 5mg for panic attacks, I only take this only when absolutely necessary. I also have Zopiclone 7.5mg sleeping tablets, which I use sparingly if I've not slept for a couple of nights (our youngest Son - 11 - is disabled & doesn't sleep well). I also have a vitamin B12 deficiency, so have to have an injection 💉 every 12 weeks. I seem to be experiencing itchiness all over my body on a regular basis as well. I take one Sanatogen multi vitamin tablet every day, prescribed by the Dr. Also I have painkillers for my broken back, Tramadol, Paracetamol & Oramorph. I have had my 2 COVID Jabs & my Booster (no side effects).
Can anyone help with advice on why I'm now getting a light discharge of dark blood when I'm still taking the Pill & haven't had a period for years, And why the itchiness?
Is this the start of the Menopause, I don't really know much about it? I have an appointment, with a Nurse, on Monday, for a Pill check & my Vitamin B12 Injection 💉 .
TIA. Raquel. 🤔
