Perimenopause or something else?

Hi ladies. Really confused so reaching out to the tribe here. My period has been regular, 30/31d cycle . For last 6 months, suddenly I started getting 3 additional days of spotting before the flow actually starts. So 3 days if barely few drops (sometimes nothing in between) and then regular 5-6 day period cycle with 3 days of heavy flow and last 2 days of light flow.

I have never had spotting in entire life so I’m thinking if this is perimenopause ?

Forgot to mention, I’m 39 and this spotting pattern started a little while after receiving covid vaccine. Any thoughts?

Could well be? How old are you?

X post. My cycle definitely changed in my late thirties. I wouldn't necessarily call it peri but it definitely changed pattern a bit. I find the app trackers useful so you can see patterns.

I'm definitely peri now at 48 and have been for a good while.

I just came on this board to ask the exact same question - last few periods I’ve had spotting for three to four days before actual flow. This is very unusual for me too. I think I’m in perimenopause as pmt is horrific and other symptoms.
