I had a coil fitted 4-5 months ago.
I had constant spotting/bleeding and the wires are up inside, so I’m on a list for removal. I was given two weeks of progesterone tablets to try and empty my womb.
The spotting has stopped in the last couple of weeks, except for one day recently, so I was thinking of keeping it. However I’ve started having frequent period pains, nothing horrendous, but it’s small and often and I’m not sure if this is normal ?
People I’ve spoken to said that it was put in and then they had no bother, I’m wondering if I’d be better off having heavy periods again and just dealing with it.
