Don't know if anyone has had similar, my MIL has had problems we're her womb for years and previously suffered a pro-lapse, but recently she's been getting some post menopausal bleeding and there's a lump so the doctor has referred her to a specialist which I've looked at on the the nhs website is routine for any bleeding but the whole family is beside themselves with worry as my FIL also has cancer, my husband is not sleeping with worry. I'm trying to be cautious optimistic because the nhs website says there are various causes but just wanted to see if anyone has experienced similar 🥺

It's really hard to give you any advice.

Post meno bleeding is very common. Most of the time it's nothing serious and can be caused by a fibroid or a polyp. An internal ultrasound scan shows what's going on.

I don't really understand her GP finding a 'lump' because you can't usually see or feel a lump unless it's on the cervix or so big it can be felt on the abdomen.

Do you know what they mean by a lump?

It also depends on how old she is and if she has ignored bleeding for years.

How old is she?

Even if it is cancerous, it's very treatable if found early.
