Booster triggered period – what about progesterone?

I had the Moderna booster last Tuesday and was really poorly for a week with digestive issues, then today I've started a period, even though I only finished my last one on December 12. I suspect the booster is to blame (so much anecdotal evidence out there about vaccines messing with periods), but my question is what should I do about taking my progesterone this cycle? I wasn't due to start it until the 24th – should I stick to that?

JinglingHellsBells So it's okay to take it while I'm having a period? I'd try to call my doctor to ask but I'd have more luck getting a direct line to Father Christmas.
