My boobs are huge and I feel enormous!
Will it go away?

It sounds like they haven’t got the dose right.

SpindlesWinterWhorl · 09/12/2021 07:51

Can you give some more details - what type of HRT are you on, for example, and at what dose?

Panacotta · 09/12/2021 08:08

1 just gone up to 2 pumps this week lenzetto - but the boobs happened immediately.

1 utrogestan dsys 15-28 up the vag

I'm overweight anyway & REALLY do not need to be any bigger

This happened to me - I also seemed to expand around the middle. I decreased the oestrogen and it went away. (I also feel huge on the progesterone bit).

Reduce the dose. Start on 1.

Not use the spray- I use gel.

You only need to use whatever dose sorts out your symptoms. I was advised to start with a tiny squirt of gel and work upwards. The ideal amount for me was 1.5 pumps. Now, as I'm older, I can manage on 1.

It's nothing to do with having periods :)

You need to take progesterone forever on HRT if you have a womb- it protects it from the effects of estrogen.

Yes. I meant for the 2 weeks of the cycle.

O've been happy with the spray. Its very clean & easy to use & has reduced aches & pains & mood swings. But it seems 1 spray is an extremely low dose.

I'm sure its the pgstrn as i feel this way during this phase.

I wouldn't make a judgement on 1 spray unless you have tried it.

If your big boobs only happen when you use utrogestan, then it should fall off once the bleed starts. Also, using utrogestan vaginally ought to not cause any changes like this because it's not absorbed much into your system.

Have tried one spray. Symptoms were returning so increased & felt better.

Thanks for your replies.

Ah- you didn't mention that at the start (trying 1 pump) hence my reply! :)

You see, as others have also said, the usual 'cure' for big bobs is to reduce estrogen.

It might settle down. it's only month 2.

If not, see your dr and try a different progesterone.
