Ovulation pains post-menopause

I’m post-menopause (last period was end of 2017) but I am still feeling, what feels like, ovulation pains roughly once a month. Is this possible or could it be cysts popping or something? I used to feel the same pains when I was having periods - like something blunt and pointy prodding me for a few seconds which repeated over a 12-24 hour period.
Is this normal?
I’m almost 50 btw.

Forgot to say, it’s usually one side or the other and definitely coming from the ovaries.

You can't have cysts popping if you are not ovulating. Go and see your GP and be examined if you worried.

Per menopause or menopause. No idea which!
Panicking like crazy. Anxiety through the roof. Periods have started to be less regular. One came 12 days after the last … pains in my abdomen and not like my normal period pains. Very tearful and worried about dying! Panicking about ruining Christmas for my family. Any advise please am at my wits end.
