Irregular bleeding

Is it normal to have irregular bleeding while in peri

Very normal. If you're concerned though it's best to speak to a GP.

Does it settle down and go back to normal or is will it be like this all the time

I'm about to turn 47 and started to have irregular bleeding at 44. For me personally it comes and goes. Sometimes my period is as regular as clockwork, other times I'll have 2 periods a month or a longer gap between periods. I have heard this will continue until the menopause. I think typically a year or so before menopause they might start coming less frequently.
