This is my first post on mumsnet.
I wondered if anyone has tried Femarelle to relieve menopause symptoms like insomnia, anxiety, aches and pains and if it has been helpful?

Is it a supplement?

If it is and they worked, everyone with symptoms would buy it instead of using hrt.

Sorry to sound blunt, but if these things did work, consultants would hand them out.

It does seem to get good reviews OP. Sorry for the rather hasty negative reply! However, like all these supplements, what works for someone may not work for you. It's also a good idea to look at the exact amount of beneficial ingredients (mainly soya) and see if eating a soya yoghurt, tofu or using other soy would give you the same amount.

The main ingredients are soy and flaxseeds.
Some women find these help, but others don't.
You could get both of these in foods (as mentioned above!) and you can buy flaxseeds to add to things you already eat.
They are a very expensive product.
