getting patches glue off skin

does anyone have any tips about how to get the adhesive from a patch off skin? Normal soap has no effect. A friend suggested hand gel but this does not seem to work. Tried scrubbing with a nail brush but just left my skin raw and the glue still on.

A wee wipe with baby oil does it for me.

Baby oil on cotton wool will do it.

Baby oil worked in with muslin cloth works for me. Or hot bath.

Baby oil and pick/rub the bits off.

Picking it off is my personal favourite Blush

Any oil will do. (except castrol gtx and the suchlike)

Another vote for baby oil on a cotton pad, and sometimes a gentle scrape, too, but comes off easily.

I can't get mine off at all - end up rubbing it off with a scrubby. It just laughs at baby oil.

Purplewithred, if you want to save scrubbing at your skin, Zoff adhesive remover wipes ( Amazon) will do the trick.

I rub my usual moisturiser or body oil over it. After a couple of days I can get the bits off fairly easily using my finger nail.

I'm a picker too!
