When to take utrogestan?

Instructions from my dr not very clear

I've been using 2 pumps of oestrogel for two weeks now and have to take 100mg of utrogestan for 25 days of the month. No idea when to start this though and other advice I've had says to take it for 14 days a month and not 25

GP rather clueless so I have no idea when to start. My period was due two days ago but didn't arrive and I'm worried that if I start the utrogestan today, my period will come

You need to take it for the second two weeks of the month. Since you still have periods.

When Do I Take It? The first day of menstruation is called “day 1.” If you get a period regularly and your cycles are usually 27-30+ days long, start progesterone on the 14th day after flow began and take it for 14 days or until cycle day 27

Thank you, that's helpful.
