I’d had no periods for almost a year then one in May of this year. GP ordered bloods and transvaginal ultrasound. Bloods showed I was post menopausal and scan all ok. I’m still on Utrogestan and gel for HRT.
I had my second mirena out mid October and initially no bleed but then I had really sore boobs, aching hips and now the period
from hell. Can’t get in to speak to GP til early December.
When I had my first mirena removed I had a hideous period and thought I’d got away with it this time as removal was a few weeks back 😞
Any thoughts? I know the bloods are only a
Snapshot but I’ve been going through menopause for 10 years and actually now feeling very low about the whole thing.
