Can POP bring on menopause?

I started the POP a few months ago and am on the second iteration as the first made me feel emotional.
This one has to be taken within a 3 hour window.

I've had no periods since I began. And then the hot flushes started. They are driving me mad.

I need to be on contraception and this is the only hormonal one I would consider as it can be stopped easily unlike the implant and injection which I reacted to really badly many years ago.

I had a spell with no periods about 3 years ago as my BMI was 16 and was precribed HRT to try and restart things. The only thing that worked was getting my BMI up to 20. Then things were regular.

Is it possible to take HRT and POP at the same time? Are there any better solutions?

You can take HRT and the pop pill together and in fact it is advised since the combined pill is not to be taken with HRT.
