Is Sandrena the same as oestrogel?

I've been prescribed sandrena but I asked for oestrogel. The Sandrena comes in tiny little sachets and just seems like hassle compared to a tube of oestrogel

But I'm a little confused .. are they the same thing or different? The doctor is trying to push the Sandrena on me

No they aren't the same. The Sandrena is more concentrated. Mine is in a pump format (Estreva) and I prefer it to Oestrogel as you need less and it dries more quickly.

I asked for a pump but got Sandrena sachets. I'm going to try them after my patches are finished. Can't say I'm excited - it looks messy, as you say, and the wrong dose (I'm currently on Evorel 75).
