HRT without bleeding

I hope some kind people can help me.
My periods stopped about 18 months ago. I'm 47.
I tried HRT patches but they caused heavy flooding.
I work in a covid ICU and can't cope with that in full PPE so had go stop the HRT.
Is it just trial and error to find what suits you or are some forms of HRT less likely to cause this?
I'm really struggling with anxiety and flushes.
My Gp is willing to prescribe what I ask for, but isn't very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of different types.
Thank you.

@kateclarke

You can use any of these types.

It's a bit depressing your GP isn't even aware of the 2 main types of HRT- basically, for women with and women without their own natural periods.

@JinglingHellsBells thank you so much for this.
I will go back to my GP and get a new prescription.

Just wanted to express my sympathy that you have to deal with this kind of thing (hot flushes and heavy periods) whilst wearing full PPE... I can't even imagine how tough that must be!
