I’m 53 and still have periods although they are becoming a bit further apart (sometimes 6-7 weeks) but also quite heavy. For the past few months I’ve had some spotting in between periods. It’s just light pink when wiping but can come and go over a few days. Can this happen in the lead up to menopause. The GP examined me and didn’t seem too concerned.
